This sure is worth as least looking at the possibilities. A group of people in the proper departments can bring forward the information. Then and only then can we put the issues in perspective.
I still can not for the life of me understand many who are so closed minded to this in Dutchess County. A County of leaders and reasonable and sometimes responsible people. A County of such magnitude that others follow.
When will this come to a head. When will this peak out and the un-thinkable happens. A bomb ready in the making.
Please stand with the people of the Fire Departments who say it IS a issue, are they only a handful.
We are in a perfect time to initiate this, a simple force of specialists to survey and compile. Again, I ask why not.
Public Safety, Saving Townships monies, Saving Lives, Isn’t this one reason why We do what we were elected to do ? A fair question, when will it happen ?

As of this date of 2/2/2010 not one member of the Public Safety Committee has looked at the potential for cost saving measures, let alone Safety in all Departments.
Write to ALL Legislators and ask them to get this done. Everyones lives still depend on simple endeavors, lets’ not miss the boat again.
A simple Public Safety Task Force isn’t a request, it should be the norm- is it ?
The New Chairman of the Legislature said in his address to the Legislators his priorities are to Consolidate Services, Fix the Resource Recovery Situation amongst others. Here it is 4/3/2010 and we haven’t seen any Consolidation what so ever, 1 meeting on the RRA, 1. I am glad it is a Priority-
