Last week Executive Steinhaus put Dutchess County Residents into Litigation. Steinhaus created the Collective Bargaining Agreement and is now putting Legislators into Litigation because of it. Not only is he putting Legislators into litigation by doing so, Dutchess County Lawyers and Courts will be involved because of his mess.

 Why is he doing so is far beyond me. Our Tax Dollars will be spent and he doesn’t care!     

Page 25 of the Legally Binding Agreement HE Created states: 

            Section 12 part (b)

                        Contracting Out. The County will not exercise its right to contract out if the result of contracting out is the layoff or discharge of then existing Employees. 

 Maybe you should write to remind him HE still represents Dutchess County.
